The PT2U Break Fall Mat

This high density foam mat has been preventing serious injury from falls in the Bay of Plenty over the three years. The mat is a light weight, high density foam that is extremely effective at absorbing the impact from falls sustained by people with serious balance problems. This mat can be place along the side of a bed to prevent serious injury should a patient be at risk of falling when getting in and out of bed.

Each mat is fitted with a removable and washable medical grade non-slip cover. Each leading edge has a high visiblitiy reflective safety strip. The PT2U Break Fall Mat can be easily stored under the bed or tucked away up against a wall when not in use.

PT2U Safety Wedge Set

The safety wedge set has been designed to anable patients to have a more comfortable and safer sleep. The set attaches firmly onto exsisting bed rails with a series of strong velcrose straps. Three cushions are attached together to form a snug fitting 'U' shaped support. Each wedge is made from top quality high desity foam that has a ten year quality guarnentee. Each cushion is covered with medical grade dry bed barrier clothe that may be easily removed and washed.

The Cushions:
